Hey Mike, I just listened to your latest podcast "the wife takes over" and got a lot of good laughs from the good natured ribbing between you and your wife. and rather than taking away "man points", I think you deserve bonus man points for going along with your wife for the 10th anniversary "pampering". Only a real man is willing to submit to such traditionally feminine things in the interest of spending time with his wife. So I applaud you!

Hi fantastic website you have going. I attend a Bootcamp in Sydney and I am always searching for training programs to pass on to my bootcamp instructor. He has a bootcamp sydney page which you can read and check out some of the things we do and things to see down under :) If your ever in Sydney Australia, our main camp is in Pyrmont, which is close to the CBD. Cheers mate!

Hi DirtDawg-

I was just listening to episode 80 and really enjoyed it! I tend to really like podcasts that have a lot of running talk in them, unlike our podcast, 3nonjoggers. I just wanted to say great job and keep up the good work.

Great podcast as usual... I needed to hear the message of staying the course in all areas --- not just running. Thanks. I hope you don't give up the podcasting.

About the FR60, can you set intervals and track mileage at the same time? I am having a hard time figuring that out. don't want to wear two watches!

Dirt Dawg I am so glad I listened to this podcast. You are an awesome father. Listening today has further pushed my drive to be a better person and to intensify my running because when I run I release all the demons in my life and I think more positively and clearly. I have reached my all time high weight this year and it is time to reverse this as I want to start another family with my new wife. Thank you.

Poor DG, I felt so bad hearing her go down. But she's a trooper and got right back up and back at it. Reminds me of a time when I crashed mountain biking w/ my husband. The people behind us were going to call 911, but I said "no I'll just go down to this stream and wash some of the blood off". They looked at me like I was crazy so my husband just said "She's a lot tougher then she looks". I laughed so hard they then knew we were both crazy and got the heck out of there. I washed up a little, got back on the bike and rode out! Way to Go Dirty Girl!!!

Hi Dirtdawg-enjoyed the podcast. I just want to say I've got the Nathan vest, I've worn it on long training runs and one 50k. It's pretty much like having nothing on (I like) and definitely better than a belt around the tummy for me. (I plan on wearing for my first 50m in a few days.)

Also--I hope you take the camera along for video.

Reference supplements: I've used gu and carbboom. I like mini-snickers and clif bars. I guess when my mileage gets beyond 60 miles a week I should look into something else. I eat so much food though (Italian spouse!) maybe that's why I haven't looked into supplements yet. Someone told me hammer gel is the good stuff.
